My most trusted adviser introduced Ed to me with the highest of recommendations. Within our first conversation, I knew Ed was an exceptional attorney, and we would be beyond lucky to have him handling our legal affairs. Over the last year, Ed has been an integral part of our team, covering all areas of legal matters from new commercial contracts for a new SaaS product launch, negotiating commercial agreements, creating employee and contractor agreements, advising on company direction, fully handling a successful merger negotiation from start to finish, creating new entities, etc. The reason Ed is extraordinary is not just his full breadth of knowledge and resources that are entirely on display. It is because he always strikes the perfect strategic balance between cost, speed, value, and relationship for everything we build or negotiate legally. He is reliable, fast-acting, trustworthy, and just a pleasure to work with on a daily basis.

Ed had been a very valuable colleague at GE Capital, providing legal and structural insights for both complex cross-border leasing transactions and the creation an off-share joint venture; he then provided great help in putting together the corporate structure of Claritas LLC; more recently, Ed has provided services to SGP Packaging, a fully-owned subsidiary of Verallia Packaging, in the areas of corporate structuring and documentation, drafting of sales terms & conditions and sales contracts. I particularly appreciate Ed’s ability to provide strategic and tactical guidance on the business terms and his keen ability to then create the supporting legal documents. I have been impressed by his legal skills and how, combined with an astute view of business environments, he is able to apply them successfully in both a corporate structure and a start-up environment with very different requirements.
