Ganesh Kalyanaraman has extensive experience advising multinational corporate clients across various industries, including technology, medical, agricultural, architecture, financial, food chain, sports, entertainers, and manufacturing/distribution, on a broad variety of corporate immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visas (e.g., E-3, H-1B, L-1, TN), consular processing, permanent residence, and citizenship. Ganesh helps global businesses manage their employees’ international assignments and understand the employment of foreign nationals on both a temporary and permanent basis in the United States. He ensures clients’ compliance with immigration laws, Department of Labor regulations, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services policies
Based in Sacramento, he represents clients on business immigration and compliance, representing multi-national corporations midsized companies, and startups, as well as individual clients. He has experience with all areas of employment-based immigration, particularly H-1B, L-1, O-1, and E-2 petitions, as well as outstanding researcher petitions and labor certification applications. Ganesh regularly assists clients with global immigration matters, including business and work visas to countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. He also works on state and federal I-9 and E-Verify audits. Ganesh has a thorough understanding of third-party contractor issues and experience handling complex naturalization, deportation defense, family and employment-based adjustment applications.
In addition to his legal experience, Ganesh brings extensive experience in immigration reform policy, legislative issues, and advocacy for smart policies for clients.
