Stacy Dees has over 27 years’ experience representing public and private companies in M&A transactions, private equity transactions, technology transactions and other business transactions. She also provides day-to-day advice to companies on corporate governance, commercial contracts, employment matters, consulting relationships, licensing and other intellectual property issues.
Stacy utilizes her big law firm and in-house experience to provide a business-focused approach to her law practice. She gained valuable experience as an associate in the corporate and securities practices of top tier national and international law firms. She also co-founded and served as Secretary and Vice President, Legal Affairs & Compliance, of Aegis Identity Software, which developed proprietary identity management software focused on the education market, and served in similar positions in public and private companies. She has worked across many industries such as technology, software, education, healthcare, biotech, telecommunications and professional services sectors.
