Suhrud Shah has extensive experience in private equity transactions and M&A. He practiced as a private equity attorney in Hong Kong with Morrison & Foerster representing TPG Growth, Goldman Sachs principal investing, Citi Alternative Investments and other U.S. private equity funds.
He represents private equity firms, venture capital firms and technology start-ups in acquisitions and capital raises. He has extensive experience with the NVCA documents and a strong understanding of financial accounting. He has worked on LBOs, growth capital investments and the full range of venture capital transactions from seed stage to Series C. He has worked on international transactions and on deals in a wide range of industries including biotech, medical devices, manufacturing, financial services and others.
In addition to his legal experience, Suhrud brings extensive private equity and corporate development experience.
Representative work includes
- On the business side of transactions, he has worked with funds such as TPG Growth and its portfolio companies in Asia on growth capital transactions.
- He also led M&A for a successful Silicon Valley internet company acquired by Thomson Reuters.
